District Customers Continue to Receive Denver Water

Rebates

 

            All District customers are eligible to receive rebates from Denver Water for the purchase of water saving devices. In March alone there were 70 rebates provided to Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District customers. High efficiency clothes washers were the most popular rebate item at 50% of the rebates provided going to customers that purchased a qualifying new washer. Close to follow were high efficiency toilets with 49% of the rebates going to these purchases. The last one percent was from wireless rain sensors and low flow toilets.

            The rebate program continues to be very successful with Bancroft customers among the metro area leaders in rebate money received! Information regarding rebates is below as well as on the Denver Water web site under the conservation tab. Please feel free to contact the District office as well with any questions regarding the Denver Water rebate program.

 

The current Denver Water rebate program includes the following items:

 

·         $150.00 Rebate for Clothes Washers, these items must be on Denver Water’s qualifying model list. Only 1 clothes washer rebate per residence.

·         $125.00 Rebate for High-efficiency Toilets, only qualifying models that use 1.28 gallons per flush or less are eligible for the rebate and these items must be on Denver Water’s qualifying model list. Limit 3 toilets per residence.

·         $50.00 Rebate for Wireless Rain Sensors, all wireless rain sensor models that connect to an automatic, in-ground irrigation system are eligible for the rebate. Limit 1 sensor per residence.

·         $25.00 Rebate for Wired Rain Sensors, all wired rain sensor models that connect to an automatic, in-ground irrigation system are eligible for the rebate. Limit 1 sensor per residence.

·         $5.00 Rebate per nozzle (minimum 4 nozzles) for Rotary Nozzles, only three specific nozzles are approved for the rebates. Please contact the District office or check Denver Water’s web site for specifics. This is a onetime rebate per residence.

·         There will be a 25% of purchase price rebate for Weather-based smart controllers for sprinkler systems. This item must qualify under Denver Water’s qualifying model list. Limit 1 controller per residence.

 

Rebate Forms and Specific Model Qualifying Information can be found at

www.denverwater.org  under the conservation tab. Please check model numbers as the list is updated regularly.

 

Rebate forms and supporting documentation must be mailed or delivered to the Bancroft-Clover Water and District offices located at 900 South Wadsworth Blvd. The District will forward the rebate applications to Denver Water for processing. All rebates are funded by Denver Water.

 

 

Do You Need Assistance to Trim Trees and Bushes Around Fire

Hydrants?

 

            If there is a fire hydrant near your property that is partially covered by bushes or tree limbs and you are not able to trim yourself please contact the District office and a field representative will assist you. This is very important as we approach the growing season. Every second saved in an emergency increases the chances of West Metro Fire saving lives and property. Check Sprinkler Systems Carefully After Start Up

 

            Upon system start up after a long cold winter special care should be taken to make sure there are no problems with the irrigation system that could cause damage or flooding to your home or could waste water and result in high water bills.
