2010 Adopted Budget Reflects No Water Rate Increase
Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District’s Board of Directors adopted a Budget for 2010 that contains no increase for customers on their water rates. The District continues to look for ways to reduce costs while maintaining a very high level of service. Bancroft-Clover is a Denver Water Master Meter Distributor. Sewer Rates Will Increase 5%
The sanitary sewer flows generated by District customers are treated by Metro Wastewater Reclamation District by contract with Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District. The Bancroft Board of Directors approved a 5% increase on sewer rates that will cost single family customers $0.69 additionally per month or $8.28 per year. Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District rates are below average for the Denver metro area.
Board of Directors Election Notice
There may be a Board of Directors Election for two Board positions on Tuesday May 4, 2010. Self nomination forms will be available in the District office at 900 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80226 after February 3, 2010 and must be returned to the offices of Grimshaw & Harring, 1700 Lincoln Street, Suite 3800, Denver, Colorado 80203 by Friday February 26, 2010. Write in candidates may file an affidavit to be eligible for the election by Monday, March 1, 2010. Please contact the District office with any questions or for additional information.
