Denver Water Continues to Offer Residents Rebates for Water Saving Items!
Denver Water is still offering rebates for purchases of certain water saving appliances or water saving enhancements to their irrigation systems. Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District customers can be eligible for these rebates (see Denver Water’s web site for eligibility requirements and details, www.denverwater.org and click on Rebates)!
Residential customers can get a $150.00 rebate for the purchase of certain models of high efficiency clothes washers and ET Controllers for their sprinkler systems, $125.00 for high efficiency toilets, $50.00 for wireless rain sensors for irrigation systems, and $25.00 rebates are available for low-flow toilets and regular rain sensors for irrigation systems.
The items must be purchased in 2007 and the forms and more details are available at the above Denver Water web site. There is also a link to the Denver Water site from www.bancroft-clover.com in the “Water Resources” section. The forms must be completed and returned to Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District. These rebates are available this year, however may not be available in the future. The Denver Water Board will make the decisions on a year to year basis if rebate money will be in the water conservation program.
Denver Water Announces Rebates Available for Commercial Customers!
There are new rebates for Commercial customers! The largest is for project based improvements that can demonstrate at least 300,000 gallons of water savings per year. Other rebates are for improvements such as Autoclave/Sterilizer Condensate Tempering Kits, Multi-Family or Multi-Tennent Sub Metering, High Efficiency Urinal rebates, Urinal ½ gallon per flush Retrofit Kits, Toilet rebates for restaurants, improvements to Single-Pass Cooling Systems, Car Wash Efficiency Equipment, Cooling Tower Conductibility Control, Coin Operated Laundry Equipment, Boiler Less Steamers as well as rebates available for Commercial High Efficiency and Low-Flow Toilet replacements. District Field Personnel Completing 2007 Maintenance!
The field crew is nearly finished with the 2007 maintenance program on the water distribution system. The field crew will complete the inspection and operation of over 900 fire hydrants. The annual inspection of fire hydrants is necessary to ensure that they will operate properly for the fire department in case of an emergency and also to keep the water distribution system clean. During the winter it is possible that damage has occurred to the fire hydrant that is not apparent. The hard working field crew will also be finalizing the water valve maintenance program for 2007. This program consists of the operation and documentation of maintenance performed to over 1000 water line valves. The operation of the valves is also very important to identify the correct position of all valves to prevent the system from operating with closed valves and also to be able to shut off the valves in case of a water main break.

The Districts ACH Payment Program is a huge success! Currently there are over 900 customers on the Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District ACH (Automatic Clearing House) Program! Cut the form from the bottom of this page, attach a voided check, get it to the District office, and you are set! Monthly bills will still be sent to all customers with complete information on the amount of water used and the balance due. Also, the date of the automatic payment will be provided and customers can contact the District office with any questions or concerns before the payment date. Then, if your bill is in order just do nothing and Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District will handle the rest! No writing checks, attaching stamps, or wondering about how long the mail will take (no late fees)! Call the District office with any questions!
